Front page
To create my front cover I first looked into common conventions of a magazines cover, this included a title, a main image, headlines, a slogan or tagline, a date, an issue number and a price. With this information I started to create my magazine cover and therefore stuck with the usual conventions so that my cover would look the part. I chose to go with a dark background but then bright and bold text with a big, colourful main image so that it stands out to the public on the shelves. I also made sure to have the word "success" stand out as much as possible in order to appeal to readers.
For the contents page I looked into contents pages on google to get an idea of the usual conventions, these include a heading, listing of contents, a few images and the page number. Knowing this list of typical conventions I began making my contents page and made sure I stuck to the list. For this page I chose to go with a lighter background and darker text so that it sticks out to the reader and contrasts to the page before. I also included a variety of pictures so that it shows a look of the school to the reader.
